For the past 68 years, The Hilltop Diner has been serving up comfort food to the masses. A family-owned diner right smack between Langley and Aldergrove, having the reputation as a local legend.
Walking into the diner is like going back to a time when food was made fresh, from scratch, with local ingredients. A time when you gathered to meet your friends and family and took the time to just sit and enjoy the company with a home-cooked meal. And a promise that you won’t go away hungry.
In 1946, the diner was built to serve the customers of the motel that was on the same site. The motel is gone, but the food is still made in the old tradition of diner specials. Offering home-made menu items including soups, pies, burgers, roast turkey, roast beef, roast ham, hand-cut fries, homemade hashbrowns… The list goes on and on. And each meal served is made with love.
Whether you come in for breakfast or lunch, The Hilltop is always glad to see you and treat you like a special guest in their home. You’ll enjoy delicious food and fabulous service in a unique atmosphere. This is one of the friendliest places you’ll ever enjoy and The Hilltop will do everything they can to make sure you leave this place a lot happier than when you arrived.
Here are the owners, Andrea and her sister Sandie (pictured right), in front of the diner during the grand opening in May 2011. Sandie has since retired, passing on her delicious pie recipes to her sister and niece who now make them with just as much love as ever! Sandie had such a big part of making the diner what it is today, and Andrea is proud to keep up The Hilltop with the same amazing atmosphere and spirit, as when it first began.
